Apply on dry skin generously, ½ hour before sun exposure. Reapply frequently especially after swimming or toweling to maintain protection.
Advice according to the Ministry of Health, General Council of Official Associations of Pharmacists and Spanish Agency Against Cancer.
Avoid sun exposure between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. (official).
Photoresistors should be used even on cloudy days.
Water, grass, sand and snow reflect the sun’s rays, increasing the radiation effects on skin, so you have to use higher sunscreens.
Avoid long sun exposures.
Try not to fall asleep in the sun.
Do not use colonies, deodorants or other cosmetics when exposed to the sun, they produce spots.
Protect the skin with clothing and head with a hat.
There are medicines and cosmetic products that produce a photosensitivity reaction in the skin due to sun exposure. Consult your pharmacist.
In special cases: pregnancy, skin diseases, outdoor workers, individuals with a family history of cancer and very low phototypes I and II, apply high protection products or avoid sunbathing.
Extreme protective measures in any outdoor activity.
Monitor changes in color, shape or size of freckles or moles. Consult the specialist.
Protect the eyes with sunglasses that have 100% UV protection (visible blue).
Do not use sunscreens opened from the previous year.
Renew the application every 2 hours and after each bath.
Use a higher photoprotection in the first solar exposures.
Extreme precautions on most body sensitive parts to sun: face, neck, bald head, shoulders, neckline, ears, hands and insteps. The lips protection should be done with photoprotective pencils or bars, and the hair with specific products.
